Sam Farhang

President , Rapt Studio

Sam Farhang is the President and Creative Director of Rapt Studio, an award-winning design and strategy  studio that helps leading brands navigate the complex challenges of this ever-changing world. Rapt Studio has locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City.   From an early age, Farhang was fascinated by the built environment, especially the power of city planning and its impact on how we live. Trained as an architect, he is the President and Creative Director at Rapt Studio, overseeing the operations and executing on the strategic vision. He works closely with the interdisciplinary teams across the studio and is responsible for several long-standing client relationships.   Farhang joined Rapt in 2013, and since then has overseen major projects for clients such as goop, The Honest Company, Dollar Shave Club, TBS, TNT, San Pedro Public Market, Fender, HBO, and Macquarie. Prior to Rapt Studio, Farhang worked at Clive Wilkinson Architects, where he had the opportunity to pursue large-scale international projects with companies such as Nokia, Foxhead, and Vitra.   Born in Iran and raised in Sweden, Farhang studied architecture at Woodbury University in Burbank, California. His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Interior Design and elsewhere. He lives with his family in Los Angeles.
