Pedro Gil is a registered Architect, Director of Studio Gil Ltd, and a member Architects for Change (AfC) the RIBA Expert Advisory Group which advises RIBA on matters relating to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. He is a trustee for Carnaval del Pueblo Association a registered charity that serves to increase awareness of Latin American culture, and a board member on Community Southwark Voice representing the Latin American community. His interests lie in blending the creative process of crafting buildings with the subtleties of designing for people, places, and communities. He combines Architectural Practice with Academia in his role as a Senior Fellow at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and has taught Architecture at several UK Institutions. After several years' experience at large practices such as Aedas Studio and ORMS, Pedro founded Studio Gil (2009).
